The Ministry of Health and Population today said that a total of 944 new cases of coronavirus were reported in the past 24 hours. The cases were recorded after conducting tests among 13264 people. In the last 24 hours, 297 people got recovery from the coronavirus infection. With this, total recovery reached 814,006. The recovery rate is 97.9 percent. Similarly, 243,460 persons were vaccinated against COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. Likewise, the number of active infection is 6,140. There is no death caused by coronavirus in the reporting period. The number of deaths caused by the virus has so far 11,602 in the country. The fatality rate is 1.4 percent. Moreover, 14 persons have been receiving treatment with ventilator support while 81 in ICU. The districts having more than 500 infected persons are Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur. Similarly, Sunsari, Kaski, Banke and Kailali have more than 200 coronvirus infected persons. The districts with zero cases are Rasuwa, Manang, Mustang and Mugu.
