Sudurpaschim Province has won the Prime Minister’s Cup Women’s National T-20 Cricket title. Sudurpaschim won the title by defeating Province One by 6 wickets in the final held in Itahari.
Sudurpaschim met the target of 102 runs given by Province One by losing 4 wickets with one ball remaining. For Sudurpaschim, Jakan Khadka scored 27 not out and Kavita Joshi scored 19 runs. Similarly, Dolly Bhatt scored 22 runs and Kavita Kunwar scored 12 runs.
Savanam Rai, Ruveena Chaudhary, Sangita Rai and Hiramayi Roy of Province One took one wicket each. Earlier, Kajal Shrestha of State One who batted first scored 48, Apsari Begum scored 15 runs and Ruveena Chaudhary scored 14 runs. Manisha Chaudhary of Sudurpaschim took two wickets and Ritu Kanaujia took one wicket.
The winner of the competition, Sudurpaschim Province, received a prize of Rs 5 lakh and the runner-up Province One received a prize of Rs 3 lakh. 8 teams from 7 provinces and one department participated in the competition.
