The provincial chief’s office has called for the formation of a government in Bagmati province.Provincial Chief Minister Yadav Chandra Sharma has called for the appointment of the Chief Minister by 4 pm on Monday, 25th January.
Provincial Chief Sharma called for the formation of the government according to Article 168 (2) of the Constitution of Nepal. Prakash Chapagain, the spokesman of the office of the provincial head, informed that the member of the provincial assembly who can get a majority with the support of two or more parties represented in the provincial assembly, as no party has got a majority, has been called to appoint the chief minister of Bagmati province according to clause 2 of Article 168.
