UML’s Hikmat Karki submits claim for CM in Province 1

UML’s Hikmat Kumar Karki has submitted a claim for the Chief Ministership of Province 1.  According to sub-section 2 of Article 168 of the Constitution, with the support of 60 state assembly members, the claim was submitted to the state chief Parshuram Khapung.

The time given by the provincial chief for government formation is ending at 5 pm today. He submitted his claim to the Chief Minister an hour before the time was up. He is supported by 60 MPs from CPN-UML, Maoist Center, RPP and JSP.
