The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has requested the government to conclude the investigation into the murder of Nirmala Pant after her rape.
While writing to the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers office on Sunday, the Commission has written to conclude the murder case of Nirmala Pant after the rape.
An expert team assigned by the Human Rights Commission submitted a report to the government on 13th January 2075 with recommendations on the incident of the rape and murder of a 13-year-old girl Nirmala Pant from Kanchanpur on 10th July 2075.
Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Ravi Lamichhane decided to proceed with the investigation of Nirmala Pant’s incident after assuming office on 11th December.
