Banfikot is a neighbouring local government of Musikot municipality, the headquarters of Rukum-West district. Most of its wards are connected with road network. But, its ward-10 has lately established its connectivity with road.
‘My dream is coming true to travel on vehicle from nearby home with the expansion of road network in our ward’, said Birkhe Kami, 77, a local. Sanibheri rural municipality and area across Bheri in Banfikot have been connected to the road network. Due to geographical remoteness, the areas have remained out of road access.
Garaghat of Banfikot-10 and various areas from Sanibheri rural municipality-3, Garayala to the region across Bheri now have come to connect with road network.Banfikot-10 ward chair Hari Chand shared that Sanibheri-3 and Banfikot-10 have come under the reach of road network in the current fiscal year.
