Chairperson of CPN (Unified Socialist), Madhav Kumar Nepal, has said his party would take the election of country’s new President as sharing of power.
Talking to media persons here Tuesday, Nepal said that no concrete proposal was made before him for becoming the President. “Rumours abound in political circle. However, no final decision has been taken on it. Although having intention is one thing, I’ve not thought of anything about becoming the President,” he observed.
His party had not decided about President’s candidacy, Chair Nepal said, adding that the party however had a stake in power sharing. “It is unwise to sacrifice always for others,” he maintained.
