According to the Department of Water and Meteorology, there is a general influence of western winds along with local winds in the country. At night, there will be a general change in Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces along with a partial change in the hilly areas of Gandaki, Bagmati and Koshi provinces. The weather will remain generally clear in the rest of the country. It is mentioned in the bulletin of the department that there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in a few places of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and one or two places in the rest of the hilly areas of the country.
In the next 24 hours, there is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning at a few places in Koshi Pradesh, Gandaki, Karnali and Far West Pradesh and at one or two places in the rest of the hilly areas of the country. The department has also urged everyone to take necessary precautions to prevent damage from thunder, lightning and wind.
