Kathmandu , April 1 : At present, there is the influence of local winds along with western winds in the country. Due to the influence of western climate, there is light to moderate rain with lightning and wind in some places of Lumbini and Far West and Koshi region, according to the weather forecast division. Light rain will also occur in some hilly and high mountain areas and some parts of Terai in Koshi region.
There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and gale at some places of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and few places of rest of the province this afternoon. There is a possibility of light snowfall in a few places in the high hilly and Himalayan areas of the country. Light rain with lightning is likely at few places in hilly areas of the country during the night. According to the weather forecast division, this process will continue on Sunday.
