Kathmandu, April 2: The country is currently influenced by local winds along with westerly winds. At present, there is partial to normal change in the hilly areas of the country and partial change in the rest of the country.
In the afternoon, the weather will be generally clear in the hilly areas of the country, including Koshi Province, with partial to moderate showers. The department has informed that there is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning in few places of hilly areas of the country including Koshi region.
In the hilly areas of the country, the weather will be partly cloudy at night and the rest will be generally clear. It is also mentioned in the bulletin of the department that there is a possibility of light rain with thunderstorm in one or two places in the hilly parts of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.
In the next 24 hours, there is a possibility of light rain with thunderstorm in few places of the country. The department has requested everyone to take necessary precautions to avoid damage caused by thunder, lightning and wind.
