Bajura, Apicentre, April 28: An earthquake jolted with the epicenter in Bajura on Friday , western part of Nepal. According to the National Seismological Center, the 5.9 magnitude earthquake occurred at 1:30 am.
The shock of the earthquake was felt in different parts of the country. Bajura was the epicenter of the earthquake for the third time in a row. An earthquake of 4.1 magnitude occurred on 10th Baisakh. An earthquake of 4.9 magnitude occurred on the 14th.
According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center, two earthquakes occurred in Bajura — one of 4.9 magnitude at 11:58 pm and another of 5.9 magnitude earthquake at 1:30 am.
Chief District Officer of Bajura, Pushkar Khadka, said that there was no information about the damage caused by the earthquake.
