Kathmandu. The final match of ACC Premier Cup Cricket will be held today between Nepal and UAE. The match will start at 9 am at the Kirtipur ground. The team that wins today’s match will get to play against India and Pakistan in the Asia Cup along with the title of ACC Premier Cup.
In the last match of World Cup League-2 held at Kirtipur Maidan a month and a half ago, Nepal defeated UAE and qualified for the World Cup Global Qualifier. Nepal and UAE have faced each other 4 times between the last two months . In which Nepal lost one match in UAE and won the remaining 3 matches.
After losing one match against UAE, Nepal has not lost any other match. If it rains in today’s game, it will happen tomorrow. But if the match cannot be played due to continuous rain, it will be super over. If the super over is even, the next super over will be held.
But if the Super Over is not possible due to rain, the team that is higher according to the ICC ODI rankings will reach the Asia Cup. Nepal is 14th and UAE is 19th in ODI rankings. If the match is cancelled, Nepal will be able to reach the Asia Cup and play against India and Pakistan.
