Kathmandu, May 4: prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has claimed the country’s politics and its economy is gearing up for improvement and its visible results would come by the end of his term. He said better results would sure to come by the end of his third premiership compared to the second term.
PM Dahal further noted, ‘The country was also in troubled times when I took the prime ministerial berth for the second time. There were various disagreements and discontents regarding the Constitution. Madhes was in unrest and the economy was not satisfactory.’
He added that the form and framework of federalism was yet to be finalized.’But we had put arduous efforts and the results had also come as anticipated,’ he said, adding, ‘The country witnessed successful federalism practice. Elections were held from local to central level.’
Stating that the country’s economy was gearing up with progress, he added that the economy would witness gradual improvement Macroeconomic indicators are positive.
‘The foreign currency reserve is positive. Other sectors are also seeing satisfactory progress. I am confident my third term as premier would be better than the second term in regard to performance and results,’ he claimed.
