Kathmandu, May 26: Nepal Rastra Bank is going to sell treasury bills worth 29 billion 130 million rupees. The central bank is going to sell treasury bills of that amount through the process of negotiation. It is said that the conversation will be held on Sunday 14th of Jeth.
Earlier, on 8th Jeth , the Central Bank had sold treasury bills worth 34 billion 20 million rupees through the negotiation process. The treasury bills that are going to be sold last time are from 28 days to 364 days.
For the purpose of raising domestic debt, the National Bank is going to sell the said treasury bill. According to the Central Bank, the current short-term interest on Treasury bills is equal to 7.91 percent. Similarly, the interest for 364 days is equal to 8.80 percent. The interbank interest rate is equal to seven percent.
