Kathmandu, May 26: The President’s Office has sent back to the Home Ministry the proposal to pardon Resham Chaudhary, who was sentenced to life imprisonment in the Tikapur incident.
President Ramchandra Paudel’s press adviser Kiran Pokharel said that he was sent back to the house to do it in accordance with the prevailing law, the decision of the court in this regard and the principles propounded by the Supreme Court.
Likewise, according to him, the petition filed on behalf of the victim has also been returned to the home for necessary action.
