PM Dahal and Indian counterpart Modi are scheduled to hold bilateral talks today

Kathmandu: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal will hold delegation-level talks with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi at Hyderabad House today. The two Prime Ministers will hold a joint press conference. Today, Modi will host a luncheon in honor of Prachanda and his delegation.

During the visit, the Prime Minister will also have a courtesy call on the President of India Draupadi Murmu and Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar. Before returning to Kathmandu, Prachanda is scheduled to visit Ujjain and Indore in Madhya Pradesh.

Earlier on Wednesday, Prime Minister Dahal’s security adviser Ajit Doval and Foreign Secretary Vinay Mohan Kwatra met with Prime Minister Dahal. They met Prachanda, who arrived in New Delhi yesterday afternoon during a four-day visit, and reached Hotel Mayurya where Prachanda was staying.

Similarly, a welcome program was organized at the Nepali Embassy in honor of Prachanda. On this occasion, Prime Minister Dahal interacted with the Nepali community in India. Minister of State for External Affairs Meenakshi Lekhi welcomed Prachanda at Delhi International Airport yesterday. Yesterday evening Nepali Ambassador to India Dr. Shankar Sharma has also organized a dinner in honor of the Prime Minister.
