Kathmandu, July 04: Speaker Devraj Ghimire is discussing with the top leaders of three major parties including the Prime Minister on Tuesday. Speaker Ghimire is scheduled to discuss with Prime Minister and Chairman of Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Leader of the main opposition party and UML President KP Sharma Oli and Chairman of Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba in the working room at Sinha Darbar on Tuesday morning at 11 am.
Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Dhanraj Gurung is also scheduled to participate in the meeting. On Baisakh 15, 10 thematic committees of the House of Representatives were formed. Two weeks after the formation of the committee, the meeting of all 10 committees started on Jeth 2. However, the committees have not been able to discuss the bill because the chairman could not be elected.
Speaker Ghimire called the top leaders after the parties failed to make an effort to elect the chairperson despite setting a time limit several times in the meetings of the chief whips of the major parties, the work arrangement consultation committee and informal discussions.
