Kathmandu, July 04: Nepal Oil Corporation has reduced the price of air fuel and the air fare has also been reduced. On Monday, Somwar Oil Corporation reduced aviation fuel domestically by 14 rupees per liter.
Along with the reduction of the fuel price by the corporation, the Nepal Civil Aviation Authority has also reduced the fuel fee for air passengers. A reduction in passenger fuel charges means a reduction in fares. The highest fuel charge was reduced by 750 rupees on the Biratnagar-Nepalgunj route and the lowest on the Lukla-Phaplu route by 60 rupees.
Similarly, the fare of Kathmandu-Dhangadhi has decreased by Rs.650 .The fare of Kathmandu-Nepalganj has decreased by Rs.455, Biratnagar-Bhairawa by Rs.450, Pokhara-Dhangadhi by Rs.475 and Kathmandu-Surkhet by Rs.485.
Similarly, the fare of Kathmandu-Bhadrapur has decreased by Rs. 420 .The fare of Pokhara-Nepalganj has decreased by 330 rupees, Kathmandu-Janakpur by 180 rupees and Kathmandu-Bhairawa by 285 rupees. The reduced fee will be effective from tomorrow, Wednesday. Earlier, the authority had reduced the fuel duty on June 6 as well.
