Kathmandu, July 20: The gold seized from the customs office area of Tribhuwan International Airport has been taken to the Taksar branch of Rasra Bank.
The Revenue Investigation Department has taken the seized gold to Taksar Division to determine the amount.
Although it is estimated that the gold is about 100 kg, the actual quantity is not ascertained, so it has been taken to the Taksar Division for verification, according to the Revenue Investigation Department.
Gold has been taken to Taksar along with the security personnel by applying lacquer on 8 boxes.
