Kathmandu : Nepal is playing against Bangladesh in its first match of the U-16 Men’s SAFF Championship football tournament on September 3 to be held in Bhutan. The South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) is taking place from September 1 to 10 in Bhutan’s capital Thimphu.
Six countries are taking part in the Championship in two groups. Group A includes Nepal, Bangladesh and India while Group B comprises hosts Bhutan, Maldives and Pakistan.
India and Bangladesh will vie in the opening match of the Championship. All the matches will be played at Changlimithang Stadium in Thimphu, Bhutan.
