Rukum, 8 August: Four people died and 18 injured in a bus accident in Rolpa. District Police Office Rolpa Information Officer Prakash Bhusal informed that four people died when the bus No. 2612, which was leaving from Bagmara, Rolpa for Ghorahi in Dang, died.
According to Information Officer Bhusal, the deceased are 21-year-old Prakash Bantha of Madi Rural Municipality-2 of Rolpa, 50-year-old Gorkhe Dangi of Madi Rural Municipality-4 and his 50-year-old wife Hasta Dangi and 46-year-old Bhakta Bahadur Vick of Pariwartan Rural Municipality-3.
Information Officer Bhusal said that Dang was sent for the treatment of those injured in the bus accident. The bus had an accident at a place called Tila Richi Village, Triveni Rural Municipality-7. According to the police, there were 19 passengers in the bus which fell about 150 meters from the road.
