Kathmandu: The election for the Bagmati Province Convention of CPN-UML is being held today. UML sources said that the voting will take place starting at 11 a.m. today (Thursday) during the ongoing session at the Nepal Academy in Kamaladi, Kathmandu.
According to the schedule, the final list of voting names was published on Wednesday, and the final list of nominations was released in the evening. Voting is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. today, with a total of 1,174 eligible voters expected to cast their ballots.
An 11-member presiding committee, led by Province In-charge Guru Baral, has been established to oversee the closed session. Other committee members include Sher Bahadur Tamang, along with Devi Gyawali, Ananda Pokharel, Gokul Baskota, Kamal Chaulagai, Rameshwar Phuyal, Krishna Rai, Sushila Nepal, Parbat Gurung, Arun Nepal, and Ratna Gurung.
