Bajhang : An earthquake has occurred in western Nepal. According to the National Earthquake Measurement Center, an earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale occurred near Talkot in Bajhang district at 2:40 pm today. Another earthquake occurred in West Nepal less than half an hour later.
Seismologist Dr. Lokbijaya Adhikari said that the earthquake occurred at 3:06 in the afternoon with its epicenter at Chainpur in Bajhang district.Earlier, at 2:40 minutes, the National Earthquake Measurement Center reported that an earthquake of magnitude 5:3 occurred near Talkot in Bajhang district.
