Kathmandu: The Unified Socialist Party is holding its Secretariat meeting today at the party’s central office in Aloknagar. The primary agenda for discussion is the determination of the new date for the upcoming convention, initially scheduled for January.
This decision comes in light of the National Assembly elections coinciding with the previously planned timeframe.Jagannath Khatiwada, the Head of the Publicity Department, stated that the Secretariat meeting has been convened to address the logistical challenges posed by the simultaneous scheduling of the convention and the elections.
The meeting is expected to delve into crucial matters, including the examination of inter-party directives aimed at resolving internal disputes.This entails the potential reassignment of responsibilities among leaders, division of work, and nominations to various committees.
