Kathmandu, January 8. Automated pace date management system has been introduced in all high courts and benches from today. Chief Justice Bishwombhar Prasad Shrestha inaugurated the programme from Patan High Court.
Earlier, there was a provision to fix the pesi from the gola system. The study committee headed by the then Judge Hari Krishna Karki had recommended the implementation of an automatic pacy system to remove distortions and anomalies in the court.
Chief Justice Shrestha had started the system of automatically fixing the case in the Supreme Court from Bhadau 11th . Shrestha had issued a circular to all high courts to implement this system, saying it showed positive results.
The current system of employees fixing the date as per their wishes will be removed. Dates are given automatically. The nature of the case and the date of priority are automatically determined. Earlier, there were complaints that the employees would make arrangements and fix the date on their own.
