Kathmandu: A total of 39 judges have been appointed to the High Court. A total of 39 judges including 26 district judges, two joint attorneys, joint registrar, joint secretary at the Law Ministry and nine advocates have been appointed.
District Judges Rajendra Adhikari, Basanta Raj Poudel, Purneswar Prasad Upadhyay, Keshav Prasad Bastola, Jayananda Paneru, Khadka Bahadur KC, Suryanath Prakash Adhikari, Kailash Prasad Subedi, Matrika Prasad Marasaini, Om Prasad Aryal, Bharat Lamsal and Kripasur Karki have been appointed to the high court.
Similarly, district judges Hemanta Rawal, Bishnu Prasad Aryal, Dhruba Kumar Piya, Surya Prasad Parajuli, Krishna Prasad Subedi, Durga Prasad Dhungel, Tejendra Prasad Sharma, Dilli Ratna Shrestha, Dandapani Sharma, Tikaram Acharya, Umesh Koirala, Krishna Murari Siwakoti, Bidur Koirala and Narayan Prasad Subedi have also reached the high court.
Khem Raj Bhatta, Asmin Kumar Rai, Matrika Prasad Bhandari, Nar Bahadur Khadka, Sanumaiya Dangol, Sarla Moktan, Naresh Kumar Chaudhary, Kailash Gurung and Madhav Dhital are the advocates. Similarly, Joint Attorneys Ramadevi Parajuli and Hari Prasad Joshi, Joint Registrar of the Supreme Court Netra Prakash Acharya and Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Law, Koshal Chandra Subedi have also reached the high court. The council has also transferred 16 high court judges.
