Kathmandu. Nepal is playing first match of ‘ ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup’ with New Zealand today . The match will start at 1:45 pm Nepali time. So far, Nepal is unbeaten against New Zealand. Nepal had defeated New Zealand in 2006 and 2016.
Nepal is placed in Group ‘D’ of the tournament. Along with New Zealand, Afghanistan and Pakistan are also included in Nepal’s group. Nepal will play its second match against Pakistan on January 24. Nepal will take on Afghanistan in the third match on January 27. The 15th edition of the ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup began in South Africa on Friday.
After the end of the group stage match, the top three teams of each group will advance to the ‘Super Six’ stage of the tournament. Teams that have reached the ‘Super Six’ stage will also be divided into two groups. Three teams each from Group ‘A’ and Group ‘D’ will be in one group.
