Kathmandu: The Weather Forecasting Division has reported a partial influence of the western low-pressure system in Nepal, leading to a mix of weather conditions across the nation. This afternoon, the skies are expected to remain predominantly clear in the hilly regions of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
However, other areas are likely to experience partial cloud cover. Gandaki, Karnali, and certain locations in the hilly terrains of Sudurpaschim Province may witness scattered to light rainfall.
Additionally, there is a potential for light snowfall in select areas of the high hills and Himalayan regions within Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim, as well as a few spots in other high-altitude regions.
As night falls, the weather is projected to range from partly cloudy to mostly clear in the remaining hilly areas of the country. During the nighttime, Gandaki, Karnali, and a few locations in the hilly expanses of Sudurpaschim Province are expected to experience scattered to light rain. Moreover, there exists a chance of light snowfall in isolated areas of the high hills and Himalayan regions nationwide.
