Butwal: Shine Resunga Development Bank has won the ‘Best Managed Development Bank Award 2024’. Shine Resunga has been adjudged the best among development banks amid a grand ceremony under ‘8th Newbiz Business Conclave & Awards” organised by New Business Age Pvt Ltd. on friday. Namrata Thapa, Resource Management Officer of the bank received the award.
Earlier, the bank had won the Best Managed Development Bank Award in 2022 and the Asia Emerging Banking Award of international standard last year. The bank’s chairman Thaneshwor Poudel said that the board of directors, shareholders, employees, customers and well-wishers of the bank all played a direct and indirect role in winning this title. Poudel said, “All the stakeholders of the bank have constructive support in winning this title and this has added responsibility and reliability to the bank to provide more systematic and excellent service.”
Shine Resunga is the only national-level development bank in Lumbini Province with a central office. The bank has authorized capital of Rs 8 billion and paid-up capital of Rs 4.73 billion. The bank has 88 branches, one extension counter and 18 ATMs across the country.
In other categories, Siddhartha Premier Insurance won the Best Managed General Insurance Company Award, Asian Life Insurance Company Limited won the Best Managed Life Insurance Company Award, Manjushree Finance Limited won the Best Finance Company of the Year Award and Krishi Bikas Bank won the Best Commercial Bank Servicing Marginalized Geographical Areas Award.
Similarly, Best Commercial Bank in Prescribed Sector Lending Award, NMB Bank, Best Managed Commercial Bank of the Year Award, Standard Chartered Bank Limited, Premier Hotel of the Year Award, Soaltee Hotel Limited and Outstanding Hospital of the Year Award Hospital for Advanced Medicine and Surgery Hams and Best Managed Company of the Year Award were received by National Healthcare Pvt Ltd.
