Kathmandu,10 may: According to meteorologists, there is a possibility of rain accompanied by thunder in different parts of the country throughout the week as the active weather system will remain in Nepal for the next few days. According to them, the low pressure system developed around Western Wind, Local Air and Bihar of India is active in Nepal.
According to them, the possibility of rain is high in the coming week as the influence of westerly wind is expected to increase further after Saturday. Meteorologists have called it pre-monsoon rainfall. It is believed that this rain can contribute significantly to the reduction of wildfires throughout the day.
However, there have been reports of people dying due to lightning in some places. Experts call for measures to be taken to avoid such activities as there are high-speed winds and lightning in this season.
Meteorologist Saroj Pudasaini of the Meteorological Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology said that there is a possibility of full and partial rainfall across the country this week.
He says that as of Friday, due to the current system, there is a possibility of rain, while the western wind will be more active from Saturday. i
