Kathmandu, June 25: The Appropriation Bill, 2081 (Budget) has been passed by a majority of votes in the House of Representatives (HoR). On Tuesday, Finance Minister Barsha Man Pun presented a proposal to pass the Appropriation Bill, 2081, in the House of Representatives meeting.
The proposal was approved by a majority of parliamentarians. With the support of the majority of MPs, the Speaker announced that the Appropriation Bill, 2081, was passed by the HoR.
The Appropriation Bill passed by the HoR will now be forwarded to the National Assembly. Once the bill is approved by the upper house, it will come into force, allowing the government to spend the money allocated in the country’s annual budget.
