Myagdi, Oct 31: The 48.5-MW Upper Rahughat Hydropower Project being constructed over the Rahuganga River has reached final phase of its construction.
The 4,900-metre-long tunnel of the project having a dam in Raghuganga rural municipality-7, at Chimkhola and a power house in ward-4, Dagnam, is being lined up.
Engineer at Upper Rahughat proejct, Narottam Karki said the construction of power house, dam, tunnel and transmission line has reached the final stage.
He informed that the physical progress of the project was nearly 85 percent and the target of generating electricity by June 2025 is going on in full swing.
