Maoist’s Namonarayan Majhi elected Chair of Gramthan Rural Municipality

Kathmandu: Namo Narayan Majhi of CPN-Maoist Center has been elected as the chairperson  of Gramthan Rural Municipality of Morang.

While Majhi won with 6969 votes, Tharu of Congress came second with 5333 votes. In this rural municipality, which was previously won by the Congress, the Vice President and 5 Ward Presidents were won by the UML. Maoists won only one ward president. While Majhi won with 6969 votes,
