Kathmandu, 2 Dec: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has departed for a four-day official visit to northern neighbor China. Deputy Prime Minister Prakash Man Singh and Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak saw him off at the Tribhuvan International Airport.
The cabinet meeting held on Thursday approved the Prime Minister’s visit to China from Mangsir 17 and stated that the team will consist of 39 people from government expenses and 48 from private expenses. There are 39 people who are going to China at government expenses, including the Prime Minister, MPs, and government officials.
The four-day China tour team includes Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Prime Minister’s wife Radhika Shakya, Prime Minister’s Chief Advisor Bishnu Rimal, Prime Minister’s Economic Advisor Yubaraj Khatiwada. Similarly, MPs Shyam Kumar Ghimire, Leelanath Shrestha, Arjun Narsingh KC, Bijula Rayamajhi, Dhirendra Prasad Mahato, Rekha Sharma, Sarbendra Nath Sukla, Deepak Karki, and Ranjita Shrestha.
Similarly, Chief Secretary Ek Narayan Aryal, Finance Secretary Ram Prasad Ghimire, Acting Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai, Executive Chief of the Investment Board Sushil Gyawali, the Prime Minister’s personal physician Dr. Divya Singh, and Vice President of Madan Bhandari University of Science and Technology Padmasundar Joshi are also present.
Similarly, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Chief of Ethics Bishnu Prasad Gautam, Chief of the North East Asia Division Krishna Prasad Dhakal, Deputy Secretary of the North East Asia Division Mani Ratna Sharma, the Prime Minister’s Personal Deputy Secretary Uday Pokharel, the Deputy Minister’s Personal Deputy Secretary Kamal Rawal, Foreign Affairs Officers Richa Bhattarai, Janaki Ojha, Sujan Lamichhane and Binod Khanal are also participating in the visiting team. Similarly, the Prime Minister’s Personal Assistant Jayashree Shakya, the Foreign Minister’s Personal Assistant Anita Singh and others are also participating in the visiting team.
