Kathmandu,8 December: Lumbini Lions lost to Janakpur Bolts by one run in the Nepal Premier League (NPL). Lumbini Lions’ play-off chances have been weakened after suffering their fourth consecutive defeat in the Nepal Premier League (NPL). Lumbini, who lost four matches in the NPL, is at the bottom of the table without a point. Lumbini is the only team to have lost four npl matches. Lumbini now has three matches left in the NPL
Despite winning the remaining three matches, Lumbini’s chances of reaching the play-offs are weak. On the other hand, Janakpur’s play-off chances have become strong after registering their fourth consecutive win. With eight points from four matches, Janakpur is at the top of the points table.
In the first match of the day, Janakpur defeated Lumbini by one run to register their fourth consecutive win. Chasing a target of 137 runs set by Janakpur Bolts, Lumbini could only manage 135 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs. Lumbini suffered its fourth consecutive defeat after Sandeep Jora was caught in the last one ball with two runs needed.
