Kathmandu, Dec 8: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has arrived in Jhapa in connection with attending various programme his home district.Former Chief Minister of Koshi Province and CPN (UML) Standing Committee Member, Sherdhan Rai, UML Koshi Province Chair Ghanashyam Khatiwada, among others welcome PM Oli at Chandragadhi Airport.
The Prime Minister is scheduled to inaugurate the Manav Sewa Ashram’s 19th branch at Mechinagar Municipality-4 and the newly-constructed Damak Business Complex at Damak Municipality-3 in the district today, Chief District Officer Bandhu Prasad Bastola said.
CDO Bastola said that Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development, Prakash Man Singh and Minister for Water Supply Pradeep Yadav will also join the business complex.
CPN Jhapa District ChairPrem Bahadur Giri said that PM and UML Chairman Oli will attend the inauguration, foundation laying, inauguration of water supply project, distribution of land-ownership certificates and party-related activities in Jhapa today and tomorrow.
