Kathmandu, Dec 30: Speaker Devraj Ghimire has extended best wishes to all Nepalis on the occasion of Tamu Lhosar festival being celebrated, specially by the Gurung community, today. He wished the festival promoted social unity and religious tolerance.
In the message, Speaker Ghimire said, “Nepal is a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural and multi-religious country where the constitution has ensured rights to all communities, cultures and lingual groups.” Ghimire further reminded that Tamu Lhosar not only reflects cultural identity of Gurung community but also enlivens tradition and fosters unity and tolerance. He further wished peace, prosperity and happiness to all Nepalis in the country and abroad on this occasion.
