Kathmandu, Jan 16: Sankata Club defeated the departmental team Tribhuvan Army Club in today’s match under the ANFA U-16 Youth League football competition held in the capital.
Sankata defeated the Army by 3-0 in the match held at the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) ground in Satdobato, Lalitpur.
With the win, Sankata has collected seven points from four matches, while Army is without any point until the fifth match. Elson Rai, Gundus Sunuwar and Pemba Tamang scored one goal each in Sankata’s victory.
In the 21st minute of the match, Sanakta took the first lead through Elson’s goal. Gundus doubled the lead by scoring in the 25th minute of the match.In the 83rd minute of the match, Pemba scored another goal to give Sankata an easy victory against Army.
