Kathmandu: The Weather Forecasting Division under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has reported that the current weather pattern in Nepal is being influenced by westerly and local winds, along with moisture-laden air masses coming in from the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea.
According to the Division, most parts of the country are experiencing partly to generally cloudy skies. Light to moderate rainfall has been recorded at isolated locations in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces.
Weather conditions are expected to remain partly to generally cloudy throughout the afternoon. There is a chance of light to moderate rain accompanied by lightning in some areas of Koshi Province and other hilly regions.
Isolated showers may also occur in other parts of the country. Additionally, light snowfall is possible at some locations in the Himalayan region.
Tonight, the weather is forecast to be partly to generally cloudy in Koshi, Gandaki, and Sudurpaschim provinces, particularly in the hilly areas. The rest of the country will see mostly clear to partly cloudy skies.
