Kathmandu, May 17: Foreign Minister Dr Arzu Rana Deuba has urged the Qatari Foreign Minister’s Special Envoy on Climate Change and Sustainability, Bader Omar Ismail Al Dafa, to take further initiatives to find out the state of Bipin Joshi and his return home.
Minister Dr Rana made the request during a meeting with Qatari Foreign Minister’s Special, who is in Kathmandu to participate in the Sagarmatha Sambaad. During the courtesy call by the Envoy with Foreign Minister Dr Rana, the status of Nepali youth Bipin Joshi, who was abducted by Hamas, was discussed.
On the occasion, Minister Dr Rana thanked Qatar for its efforts so far in trying to secure the release of Bipin Joshi, and requested to continue the initiative to that regard.
Also, during the meeting on Friday, Minister Dr Rana thanked Qatar for participation in the Sagarmatha Sambaad and discussed the cooperation and collaboration in the days ahead to reduce the impact of climate change. (RSS)
