Kathmandu, Aug 22: Director of Nepal Study Centre at Sichuan University of China, Prof Dr Song Zhihui, visited the central office of the Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS), Kathmandu and expressed interest in collaborating with RSS for strengthening Nepal-China relations at people’s level.
It would be an opportunity for the Sichuan University as well to collaborate with the authentic news agency like RSS to further strengthen relations between Nepal and China, he viewed.
On the occasion, General Manager at RSS, Sandip Rai, said RSS had given special importance for promotion of Nepal-China relations at people’s level. In near future, RSS will appoint its representative in China, he informed.
RSS Feature Section Chief Krishna Adhikari shed light on the role RSS played in Nepal-China relations. Prashanta Kumar Bishwokarma, who is doing PhD from Sichuan University, said China had attached high importance on Nepal’s development.
The visiting Director Dr Song was handed over RSS Photo book, 2082. Receiving the book, Dr Song said it would be a good source of knowledge on Nepal’s developing infrastructures and culture.
