Kathmandu: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has appealed to all citizens to view the forthcoming election as a national celebration and take part actively to ensure its success.
Extending her best wishes on the occasion of the Chhath festival on Monday morning, PM Karki encouraged the public to express their voices and concerns through the upcoming House of Representatives election, slated for March 5, 2026.
“Street demonstrations alone cannot resolve every issue,” the Prime Minister said, emphasizing that in a democracy, people should present their views peacefully, gain public trust, and seek validation through elections.
“I, therefore, urge everyone to embrace the upcoming election as a festival of democracy, participate enthusiastically, and help make it a grand success,” she added
