Kathmandu: Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the official foreign exchange rates for today. The bank has set the buying rate for one U.S. dollar at Rs. 140.26 and the selling rate at Rs. 140.86.
For the European Euro, the buying rate is Rs. 163.07, while the selling rate stands at Rs. 163.76. The U.K. Pound Sterling is priced at Rs. 186.73 for buying and Rs. 187.53 for selling. The Swiss Franc is being bought at Rs. 176.27 and sold at Rs. 177.03.
The Australian Dollar has a buying rate of Rs. 91.36 and a selling rate of Rs. 91.75. The Canadian Dollar’s rates are Rs. 100.21 for buying and Rs. 100.64 for selling, while the Singapore Dollar is being bought at Rs. 108.00 and sold at Rs. 108.47.
The buying rate for 10 Japanese Yen is Rs. 9.18, and the selling rate is Rs. 9.21. For one Chinese Yuan, the buying rate is Rs. 19.70 and the selling rate is Rs. 19.78. The Saudi Arabian Riyal is priced at Rs. 37.40 for buying and Rs. 37.56 for selling, while the Qatari Riyal is set at Rs. 38.48 for buying and Rs. 38.64 for selling.
For the Thai Baht, the buying rate is Rs. 4.29, and the selling rate is Rs. 4.31. The UAE Dirham is being bought at Rs. 38.19 and sold at Rs. 38.35. The Malaysian Ringgit’s rates are Rs. 33.21 for buying and Rs. 33.36 for selling. For 100 South Korean Won, the buying rate is Rs. 9.75, and the selling rate is Rs. 9.79.
The Swedish Krona is priced at Rs. 14.92 for buying and Rs. 14.98 for selling, while the Danish Krone is set at Rs. 21.83 for buying and Rs. 21.93 for selling. The Hong Kong Dollar has a buying rate of Rs. 18.05 and a selling rate of Rs. 18.13.
For the Gulf currencies, the Kuwaiti Dinar is set at Rs. 457.50 for buying and Rs. 459.46 for selling, while the Bahraini Dinar is priced at Rs. 372.04 for buying and Rs. 373.63 for selling. The Omani Riyal is available for purchase at Rs. 364.30 and for sale at Rs. 365.86.
Additionally, the buying rate for 100 Indian Rupees is Rs. 160.00, with the selling rate at Rs. 160.15. Nepal Rastra Bank has indicated that these rates are subject to change and may be revised as needed. It also noted that commercial banks may offer different exchange rates, with the updated rates available on the central bank’s official website.
