Kathmandu: Prachanda Calls for Leftist Unity and National Cooperation to Tackle Nepal’s Political Challenges
Kathmandu: Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, the coordinator of the CPN (Maoist Centre), emphasized the need for leftist unity and national collaboration to tackle the ongoing political challenges, fulfill public expectations, and preserve the nation’s sovereignty and democracy.
In a message shared on his official Facebook page today, Prachanda stressed that the nation’s issues and crises could only be addressed through progressive ideas, a strong organizational structure, and genuine political action.
He stated, “The polarization within the patriotic, progressive, and leftist forces, as well as the cooperation among democratic factions, has become a necessity for the country’s advancement.”
Prachanda called on all republican forces to unite under a shared national front to protect the constitution, strengthen inclusive democracy, and safeguard the nation’s independence.
He also made an emotional plea for all leftist factions, including the Maoists, to join forces and form a unified communist party.
