Bagmati, 17 Dec:The Bagmati Province has spent only 4.47 percent of its capital budget in the first five months of the current fiscal year. According to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Planning, during the review period, 18.41 percent expenditure was made under recurrent (current) expenditure. For the current fiscal year 2082/83, a budget of NPR 67 billion 47 crore 73 lakh 27 thousand was approved.
Among the allocated budgets, the Provincial Public Service Commission spent the highest at 29.90 percent, followed by the Provincial Assembly Secretariat at 27 percent, the Office of the Chief Attorney at 23.67 percent, the Ministry of Health at 20.45 percent, the Provincial Policy and Planning Commission at 19.04 percent, and the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Transport at 19.55 percent.
