Kathmandu: Sandip Pun, the son of martyr from the Maoist war, has been given reponsibility as the coordinator of the student union of the Progressive Democratic Party (PDP). According to a decision made at the party’s Central Committee meeting held on Poush 1 and 2, Pun was entrusted with this responsibility.
PDP has expressed confidence that under Pun’s leadership, the student movement, democratic values and norms, and progressive ideology will be further strengthened, taking the organization to new heights.
It has also been stated that as this is the first student organization to be established after the Gen Z uprising, its role is expected to be even more effective in the coming days.
