Kathmandu – The price of gold in the local market has reached an all-time high. In today’s trading, gold crossed the NPR 280,000 mark for the first time, reaching a historic peak.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold increased by NPR 4,200 on Monday and is being traded at NPR 282,000 per tola. This is the highest price recorded so far.
On the previous day, Sunday, the price of gold per tola was NPR 278,800. Similarly, the price of silver has also increased today. Silver rose by NPR 185, reaching its highest level ever, and is being traded at NPR 5,810 per tola today.
