Kathmandu: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today (Sunday). According to the determined rates, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at NPR 146.88 and the selling rate at NPR 147.48.
Similarly, the buying rate of one European Euro is NPR 175.12 and the selling rate NPR 175.83. The UK Pound Sterling has a buying rate of NPR 201.94 and a selling rate of NPR 202.76. The Swiss Franc has been fixed at a buying rate of NPR 191.09 and a selling rate of NPR 191.87.
The buying rate of one Australian Dollar is NPR 102.79 and the selling rate NPR 103.21. One Canadian Dollar has a buying rate of NPR 108.51 and a selling rate of NPR 108.95. The Singapore Dollar has been set at a buying rate of NPR 115.84 and a selling rate of NPR 116.31.
For Japanese Yen, the buying rate for 10 units is NPR 9.53 and the selling rate is NPR 9.57. The Chinese Yuan has a buying rate of NPR 21.13 and a selling rate of NPR 21.21. The Saudi Arabian Riyal has been fixed at a buying rate of NPR 39.16 and a selling rate of NPR 39.32, while the Qatari Riyal has a buying rate of NPR 40.30 and a selling rate of NPR 40.47.
According to the central bank, the Thai Baht has a buying rate of NPR 4.68 and a selling rate of NPR 4.70. The UAE Dirham has been set at a buying rate of NPR 39.99 and a selling rate of NPR 40.16. The Malaysian Ringgit has a buying rate of NPR 37.26 and a selling rate of NPR 37.41. The South Korean Won (100 units) has a buying rate of NPR 10.19 and a selling rate of NPR 10.23. The Swedish Krona has been fixed at a buying rate of NPR 16.59 and a selling rate of NPR 16.66, while the Danish Kroner has a buying rate of NPR 23.45 and a selling rate of NPR 23.55.
Nepal Rastra Bank has set the buying rate of one Hong Kong Dollar at NPR 18.81 and the selling rate at NPR 18.89. The Kuwaiti Dinar has a buying rate of NPR 481.97 and a selling rate of NPR 483.94. The Bahraini Dinar has been fixed at a buying rate of NPR 389.59 and a selling rate of NPR 391.18. The Omani Riyal has a buying rate of NPR 381.53 and a selling rate of NPR 383.09. Likewise, the buying rate for 100 Indian Rupees has been set at NPR 160 and the selling rate at NPR 160.15.
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. It has also been informed that the exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ, and the updated exchange rates will be available on the central bank’s website.
