Kathmandu — The price of gold fell by Rs 18,800 in a single day on Sunday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold is being traded today, the first day of the week, at Rs 300,000 per tola.
On Thursday, the price of gold had reached an all-time high of Rs 339,000 per tola. After falling to Rs 318,800 per tola on Friday, the price dropped again by Rs 18,800 today.
Similarly, the price of silver also declined on Sunday. Silver fell by Rs 1,565 per tola and is being traded at Rs 5,500 per tola, the Federation reported. On Friday, silver was priced at Rs 7,065 per tola. On Thursday, silver had reached its all-time high of Rs 7,505 per tola.
