Muslim Commission Annual report presented in National Assembly

Kathmandu – The annual report of the Muslim Commission for the fiscal year 2080/081 has been tabled in the National Assembly. At today’s meeting of the Assembly, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Anil Kumar Sinha presented the report on behalf of the Prime Minister and Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Sushila Karki.

During the meeting, Tulasa Kumari Dahal, Chairperson of the Legislation Management Committee, presented the “Study Report, 2082 on Legislative Interrelationships among Federal Units” and the “Report, 2082 on the Measurement of Implementation of Child Participation Provisions under the Children Act, 2075.”

Presiding over the meeting, Vice-Chairperson of the National Assembly, Bimala Ghimire, informed the House about the contents of a letter received from the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers regarding the assignment of responsibilities to members of the Council of Ministers.

Conclusion of the 19th Session of the National Assembly

The 19th session of the National Assembly has been concluded. President Ram Chandra Poudel ended the current session effective from 12:00 midnight today, in accordance with Article 93(3) of the Constitution, based on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers dated Magh 26. The Chairperson of the National Assembly, Dahal, informed the meeting of the contents of the letter received from the President regarding the conclusion of the session.
